~Maiki’s POV~

The year is 2015 and almost everywhere you look you see digimon. Yupe I said digimon. Most kids begin their search for a partner at the Pre-Academy or at Digimon Daycare. My name is Maiki Aino and I’m the tamer of Kitrisumon or Kit for short. I have pink hair to the middle of my back and blue eyes.

My search for a partner began when I was sent to Digimon Daycare where Swanmon and Monzeamon take care of baby humans and baby digimon.

Swanmon – Bird – Vaccine – Armor – Attacks: Feather Tornado and White Wing Flapping [Swanmon are the armor form of Gatomon using the digi-egg of Love. The feathers that she drops form into a whirlwind and attack her enemies.]

Monzeamon – Puppet – Vaccine – Ultimate – Attack: Hearts Attack with a Hug [It's unknown what's inside his costume. He sends out hearts of happiness. What's inside of him is the secret of all secrets.]

The Digimon Daycare is where baby humans and toddlers learn to live with digimon and we get to play with them. It is also where baby digimon get their first experience with humans. This is also when you somewhat first meet your partner although you don’t know it yet.

After you grow out of Digimon Daycare you go to Pre-Academy, which is just like Pre-Kindergarten where you come into to contact with an In-Training digimon. It was here I meet Kitasumon. She use to be Feeitmon, which is a very small bundle of pink fur with big blue eyes.

Feeitmon – Slime – Data – Baby – Attack: Bubble Blow [Feeitmon are the tiniest digimon there ever could be. They maybe small but they are very loyal to their partners and friends.]

Now she was Kitasumon a pink looking Viximon still with blue eyes and as small as a baby digimon.

Kitasumon – Lesser – Data – In-Training – Attack: Beauty Beam [Kitasumon will do anything to keep their friends and partner safe from danger. They maybe small but they can sure pack a mega punch.]

When I first arrived at Pre-A (short for Pre-Academy) I saw everyone racing around with digimon chasing them or digimon being chased by a human. I saw her sitting by herself off in a corner watching the other digimon laugh and play with the other kids. I went over to her and asked her what was wrong. She told me that she was teased by the other digimon because she was smaller than the others. Soon the two of use were playing together. Before I entered DA (short for Digimon Academy) a Kuzuhamon stopped by and appointed a digimon to each child and that’s how Kitasumon and me meet.

Kuzuhamon – Wizard – Data – Mega – Attacks: Womb World Mandala and Reverse Rice Net [Descended from onmyouji diviners, her Reverse Rice Net attack sends out bewitching mother foxes.]

Right now she is a Kitrisumon, which is a pink creature that looks like a fox squirrel, but she is the size of a small cat.

Kitrisumon – Beast – Vaccine – Rookie – Attacks: Sharp Leaf and Healing Aroma [Kitrisumon are very intelligent digimon. With their Sharp Leaf they can cut through almost anything and their Healing Aroma can cure any injury or purify the air around them.]

The day I started DA it felt like something was going to happen. On the way to DA I passed a group of Kenkimon who were doing some construction work.

Kenkimon – Machine – Data – Armor – Attacks: Crazy Crane and Hyper Bulldozer [Kenkimon are the armor form of Gabumon using the digi-egg of Friendship. When you have a huge herd of them together don’t startle them otherwise you have a machine stampede on your hands.]

I waved to them and a few waved back. Then I entered school and by accident I ran right into someone. I glanced up from the ground ready to holler at the person when I noticed it was Ryumon and next to him was Toya Tomi, Ryumon’s tamer.

Ryumon – Reptile – Virus – Rookie – Attacks: Molten Sphere and Mini Dragon Claws [Ryumon look just like their brothers Guilmon. They are fiercely loyal to their tamers and will do anything for them.]

Ryumon looked just like a Guilmon except that the red was now black, the black was crimson, and the white was red. Plus he has golden eyes just like InuYasha. Toya had brown hair and green eyes. He wore his favorite red jacket, black t-shirt, and styled goggles. He also wore tan shorts and black and red sneakers. I was wearing my favorite pink t-shirt and blue jeans plus white sneakers. On my shirt was a huge red flower.

Toya glared at me and I glared back, but I left without a word. For some reason everyone seems to hate me besides my family and my partner Kit. I don’t why, but I accept it and I go on with my life although most wouldn’t.

When I entered the school I saw Tomoyo Mishen with Salamon right beside her.

Salamon – Animal – Vaccine – Rookie – Attack: Puppy Howl [A young holy Digimon. A Digimon whose well loved like a pet. Her longish ears are her most charming feature. Her round eyes are full of charm! Her loud voice jolts the senses of any who hear it and paralyzes them.]

Tomoyo is a happy go lucky girl who loves hanging out with me since I know the most about digimon. The cloths that Tomoyo wears reflect on her favorite chosen child and that child would be Mimi. She has long black hair and bright red eyes. “Hey Maiki!” she called to me.

“Hey Tomoyo. Looks like we finally made it to the Academy,” I said to her.

“Yeah and I can’t wait to find out who my roommate is,” she said. I stopped dead in my tracks.

“Roommate?”

“You didn’t hear?” I shook my head. “Well I heard that two tamers are randomly chosen and they are put in the same room together.” Just then we noticed that they had put up who was sleeping where. Tomoyo was in room 124 while I was in 148.

I walked down the hallway looking for my room. “Aren’t you excited Maiki?” Kit asked me from my arms.

“A little Kitrisumon. I’m just nervous about who is going to be in the room with us,” I tell her as I come to the door marked 148. When I opened the door I found a nice dorm room with two beds plus two closets on either side of the beds. There was also a kitchen area so we could make our own food, a bathroom in the corner, drawer next to each bed and a TV.

“This is cool,” Kit said as she leapt out of my arms and onto the bed on the right.

“I guess our roommate isn’t here yet,” I say and then the door opens. I turn and standing in the door way is Toya and Ryumon. Toya and me stared at each other until Ryumon rushed into the room and belly flopped on the other bed.

“That was fun,” Ryumon said and I let out a small giggle.

“I guess that’s my bed,” Toya said walking over to the bed.

“Hey! Toya! My man!” Into the room came Saine Mihara with his partner Odaimon beside him.

Odaimon – Dragon – Data – Rookie – Attacks: Fire Flamer and Magic Torch [Odaimon are fun loving digimon. Fire Flamer and Magic Torch can burn anyone and anything]

Odaimon is the size of an Impmon with green scales all over his body except on his stomach, which was red. He also had green scaly wings. His brown eyes looked up at his tamer. Saine can be very serious at times and the next be a joker. Saine has blue hair styled just like Matt’s from season one and he has green eyes. He wore a black coat and a green sweat shirt under it and brown pants. Saine loves to paint and you can just tell by all the different colors on his white shoes.

“Hello Saine and Odaimon,” I say before turning back to arranging my area.

“Hey Saine. What’s up?” Toya asks and I can feel him glare at me with my back turned to him.

“We’ve all been called for a rally in the gym and I heard that were going to get our D-Cell’s,” Saine said.

‘D-Cell’s?’ I though. I looked to Kit.

“What are D-Cell’s?” Toya asked Saine.

“No clue,” Saine said.

“A D-Cell is the newest digivice that was created. It has a few different functions although I don’t know what,” Kitrisumon said.

With that Saine and Toya along with they’re digimon left to go to the gym. I followed slowly behind them with Kitrisumon following me. Once in the gym I found a seat next to Tomoyo and Marie Kanoske along with her partner Umimon.

Umimon – Aquatic Beast – Data – Rookie – Attacks: Rain Fan and Aqua Sonic [Umimon are water loving digimon. Their Rain Fan and Aqua Sonic are very powerful water attacks]

Umimon looked like a small amphibian that was capable of standing on two legs. She also has pale blue scales and darker webbing between her feet and fingers, along with specially elongated scales around her waist and flaps of her ears/gills. Her eyes are pupiless and black. Marie looked just like Zoe from season 4 except she has dark brown hair.

Just then the Principle Mrs. Katsuka Chokoreto and her partner D’Arcmon appeared on the podium.

D’Arcmon – Angel – Vaccine – Champion – Attacks: Battement d’Amour and La Pucelle [D’Arcmon are very wise and knowledgeable digimon. Their knowledge is why people search far and wide to find one she can tell them their future]

Mrs. Chokoreto looked to be about 20 to 25 years old. “Welcome one and all to Digimon Academy. While you are here there are some rules you all must follow. One: There will be no battling after hours. Two: While you are the person you share a room with will be your partner. Now come up and receive your D-Cell’s.”

I glanced over at Toya and he glanced at me. “This is going to be the worst year ever,” I said.

“Why’s that?” Tomoyo asked me.

“My roommate is Toya Tomi,” I told them. Both Marie and Tomoyo stared at me with the open mouth expression and then looked over at Toya who was with Saine, Ryumon, and Odaimon. He was still looking at me. ‘This is going to be the worst year ever,’ I though to myself. I looked down at Kit who was curled up in my lap and she smiled at me. I smiled back at her. ‘Well it can’t get any worse then it already has.’ How wrong I was to believe that.
