Chapter one “Scouts in the past”

A girl with brown hair and blue eyes wearing jeans and an orange t-shirt raced along a sidewalk with a yellow cat that had gray eyes on her shoulder. “Why didn’t you wake me up sooner Sol?” the girl asked the cat. The girl seemed to have scratches on her face.

“Well I tried too, but you just wouldn’t wake up. So I did the only thing that would wake you up Fai,” Sol said. The girl was Faith Hanson otherwise known as Fai to her friends. She is also known as Sailor Sun. Yes she is the scout of the sun and another member to Serena’s group of Sailor Scouts. Shortly after she joined Hilary Yochi who is Sailor Earth joined. Gaea the black and white moon cat guides Hilary. Gaea has white on all four of her paws, the tips of her ears, and at the tip of her tail. The rest of her is black and she has yellow eyes.

Fai recently moved to Japan from America and that’s when she made fast friends with Serena and the gang. Then a few months ago they were being picked on by some boys. Fai never really likes to see anyone getting picked on because that is all that ever happens to her in America. So Fai stepped forward and demanded that the boys leave Serena and her friends alone. When the boys didn’t comply Fai with the help of Amara, and Trista, sent the boys running. Michelle and Hotaru also appeared.

With the boys gone Fai turned to leave, but a new enemy called Shayla stopped them. Shayla appeared to be as old as Serena, but she wore a totally gray sailor outfit and had fairy wings coming out of her back. She was also as tall as Amara. To Fai’s surprise the new friends that she had made turned into the Sailor Scouts. But soon the scouts looked like they were losing and Serena got slammed into a wall. Shayla was about to finish her when Fai stepped in. She placed herself between Shayla and Serena saying that she would protect them with their lives. Then Sol appeared before her and gave her, her transformation wand. With that Sailor Sun was born.

Fai raced up the steps to Raye’s temple and bumped into someone then landed on her butt. “Hey are you ok?” a female voice asked. Fai glanced up from the ground to see a girl in a green and white sailor suit almost like what she and the others wore to school holding out a hand to her. She had black hair that she wore down and brown eyes. She looked vaguely familiar to Fai.

“I’m fine. You ok? Hope I didn’t bump into you too hard,” Fai said getting up.

“Nope. I’m ok too. That’s a cute cat on your shoulder,” the girl said.

“Thanks. Her name is Sol. I’m Fai by the way and who are you?” Fai asked.

“I’m Kagome. I better go. Nice meeting you,” Kagome said as she walked away.

“Nice to meet you too,” Fai said back before heading inside the shrine.

“You finally made it Fai,” Hilary with Gaea on her shoulder said as Fai and Sol arrived inside. Hilary had green hair that came to the top of her shoulders and brown eyes. She always wore her school uniform everyday. It had a green bow and skirt but the rest was brown. Standing next to her was Darien, who in the past was her brother.

“What kept you?” Lina asked.

“I was just really sleepy today cause I had that strange dream again last night and I kindof bumped into a girl on the way here,” Fai explained.

“Again?” Hilary asked to which Fai nodded.

“What dream?” Michelle asked.

“I’ve been having this dream for a while now. I see a shadow figure coming at me and I run from it. Around my neck hangs a small white ball from a chain. Suddenly this guy leaps out of nowhere with a sword and is defending me. I have no idea who this guy is, but for some reason I feel like I can trust him,” Fai explained.

“That sounds so romantic!” Mina said.

“Sure does,” Amy said, “Do you know who this guy is?”

“No clue, but he does remind me of someone from an anime I watch all the time,” Fai concluded.

“Really? Who?” Rini asked.

“I rather not say,” Fai said blushing slightly.

“Not again Fai,” Hilary said shaking her head at her friend.

“I can’t help it! He is just too damn cute for an anime character,” Fai said blushing more.

“Who are you guy’s talking about?” Trista asked.

“Fai has this huge crush on InuYasha,” Hilary said.

“You weren’t supposed to tell them Hilary!” Fai fumed slightly.

“You shouldn’t be embarrassed that you have crush on a guy,” Serena said.

“Even if he’s just an anime hottie,” Raye said. They all laughed. The moon cats just shook their heads at the girls.

“Hey don’t forget we have that other school coming in to check us out tomorrow,” Hilary said.

“Almost forgot about that. Thanks Hilary,” Fai said. The next day as Hilary, Fai, Raye, Lita, Mina, Amy and Serena made their way to school wearing their uniforms the gang continued to talk about the school that was coming. Hilary wore her usual outfit and Fai wore a white suit with an orange skirt and black bows.

“I wonder what the kids who are checking the school out are like,” Mina asked.

“Who knows, but maybe we might be able to find a new sailor scout among them? Sol said that there were more sailor scouts then there are now on our team,” Fai said.

“Fai?” a voice asked.

Fai glanced up and there stood the girl she had bumped into yesterday, Kagome. “Kagome? What are you doing here?” Fai asked.

“I’m here to just look around. I’m someone’s shadow for today. Do you know her?”

“What’s her name?” Raye asked.

“Faith Hanson.” Hilary snickered slightly, but one glare from Fai made her silent.

“You’re looking at her,” Fai said.

“But you said your name was Fai,” Kagome said confused.

“True, but instead of everyone calling me Faith all the time I have them call me Fai. Plus I like it better then Faith,” Fai answered. Just then Sol appeared beside Fai with a meow. “Oh! Hey Sol.”

“Your cat followed you to school?” Kagome asked.

“I don’t know why, but everywhere I go she follows me. I told the teachers here about her and they said as long as she causes no trouble she’s welcomed to be here. She just has to stay outside and wait for my classes to be done,” Fai explained, “Sometimes Gaea, Luna, and Artemis does too.”

“Who are Gaea, Luna, and Artemis?” Kagome questioned.

“Gaea’s my cat, Luna belongs to Serena, and Artemis is Mina’s,” Hilary answered her.

Sol stared hard at the girl that Fai and the others were talking to. ‘I can’t explain it, but there is some kind of weird power being admitted from that girl. I must inform Luna.’ With that Sol dashed into the bushes.

“Well time for school,” Fai said and the girls walked into the school. In the middle of the second class of the day Fai got the strange sensation that something was amiss. ‘Don’t tell me their going to attack now,’ Fai thought. She turned to Hilary and the other scouts who were seated around her. “Be on alert. I’m getting a strange feeling,” Fai whispered to them.

“Me too,” Raye said. Suddenly a large explosion was heard and in came a strange looking monster. It looked like a snake made of metal. Everyone in the classroom began to run out the doors.

“We have to get everyone out of here,” Lita said.

“I’ll contact Amara and the others,” Amy said.

Just then Fai noticed the snake looking directly at Kagome. “You guy’s do what you have too. I got something to do,” Fai said dashing forward. She took a flying leap and kicked the snake in the head knocking it away from Kagome.

“Thanks Fai. Where did you learn to kick like that?” Kagome asked.

“Took karate lessons while I was in America. Now run before it gets you. I’ll be right behind you,” Fai told her. Kagome nodded and dashed away. Fai waited until she was out of sight before she turned to Mina, Serena, Raye, and Hilary. “Let’s do it scouts!” she said and they all nodded.

“Venus Crystal Power!”

“Mars Crystal Power!”

“Earth Crystal Power!” Hilary was engulfed in what appeared to be ground and rose petals. She was given a white leotard, a dark green skirt, a pink bow in front, brown bow in the back, brown boots just like Sailor Moon, and a dark green jewel in her tiara.

“Sun Crystal Power!” Fai was engulfed in orange bands of light. She was given a white leotard, an orange skirt, a red bow in front, black bow in the back, black boots just like Sailor Moon, and an orange jewel in her tiara.

“Moon Eternal Power, Make Up!”

The snake slithered outside into the hallway with the scouts in hot pursuit. “Who do you think it’s after?” Venus asked.

“It looks like that girl,” Earth said and the girls looked ahead to see Kagome being chased by the snake.

“Not again!” Sun said, “Kagome must be a magnet for trouble.”

“There’s something about her,” Mars said.

“What do you mean Mars?” Moon asked.

“I feel this tremendous amount of energy coming from her,” Mars explained.

“You think she might be a scout?” Earth asked.

“Hello! Back to the present girls! We got people to save here!” Sun said and she prepared to attack. “Sun Sparks Flash!” she cried. She held the two fingers together that come after the thumb on her right hand and swipes down with the same hand. She sent orange flames at the snake. The attack hit and it screamed in pain. The snake then lunged outside.

“It’s getting away!” Moon cried.

“Not for long,” Sun said and she leapt after it.

Kagome glanced back just in time to see the scouts leaping out after the snake. ‘Those are…the Sailor Scouts!’ Kagome thought, ‘But I don’t remember hearing about those two girls with the brown and black boots.’

Outside the snake was about to start chasing some of the kids outside. “Hold it right there!” Sailor Moon called. The snake turned to see the 5 girls behind it.

“How dare you attack innocent people! I’ Sailor Venus and I’m protected by the planet Venus,” Venus said.

“You will not harm any of them. I’m Sailor Mars and I’m protected by the planet Mars,” Mars said.

“No one will be hurt on our watch. I’m Sailor Earth and I’m protected by planet Earth,” Earth said.

“We will fight to protect everyone. I’m Sailor Sun and I’m protected by the Sun,” Sun said.

“We stand for love and justice and nothing will stop us! I am Sailor Moon! And we are…” Sailor Moon began.

“The Sailor Scouts!” The 5 said together.

“And in the name of the moon…”

“Sun…”

“Earth…”

“Mars…”

“And Venus…”

“We will punish you!”

“You can not sssstop me,” the snake hissed.

“If they can’t then we’ll just have to give it a shot,” a voice said. The snake turned to see Sailor Mercury, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Mini Moon, Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Pluto, and Sailor Saturn.

“Let’s take it down scouts!” Sun called to the others.

“Pink Sugar Heart Attack!”

“Saturn Silent Blaster!”

“Pluto Deadly Scream!”

“Neptune Deep Submerge!”

“Uranus World Shaking!”

“Venus! Love and Beauty Shock!”

“Jupiter! Oak Evolution!”

“Mars! Flame Sniper!”

“Mercury! Aqua Rhapsody!”

“Earth Rose Petals!” Rose petals surrounded Earth and then she sent them at the snake.

“Sun Scepter Heat Blast!” A scepter with a sun on top of it appeared in her hand and an orange bean shot straight at the snake.

“Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss!”

All 12 attacks hit the snake and destroyed it. “We did it!” Mini Moon exclaimed.

“Fai?! Where are you?” Sun heard Kagome call.

“I think we better disappear,” Sun said.

“We’ll wait for you outside,” Pluto said and with that the Outers and Mini Moon disappeared while the Inners dashed back inside.

“Fai? Hilary? Raye? Mina? Lita? Amy? Serena? Where are you guys?” Kagome called while walking a hallway.

“Kagome over here!” Hilary called out to her as she and the others raced up to her.

“Where were you guys?” Kagome asked.

“They went looking for me because I got a little lost because I don’t know all these halls like they do,” Fai explained.

Soon school was over and Kagome separated from the Inner scouts. Amara, Michelle, Trista, Hotaru, and Rini meet up with them half way to Raye’s temple. “That was a quick battle today,” Hotaru said.

“She’s right. Shayla didn’t even try anything,” Lita said.

“So what is she up to?” Hilary asked looking at the other girls for answers.

“Hey! I’m sensing a very weird energy,” Raye said. A weird portal appeared up in front of the gang and it began to suck everyone in.

“Help!” Rini exclaimed. Fai saw that Rini was getting pulled in fast because she was smaller then the rest. Fai moved forward, grabbed Rini, and Hilary grabbed her, but all the scouts were sucked into the portal.

Fai awoke to find herself in a forest with Hilary, Rini, Sol, Gaea, and Dianna. The other scouts were no where to be seen. “Where the heck are we?” Fai asked as the other five awoke.

“Fai?” a voice asked. Fai jumped and turned to see Kagome and about 6 other weird characters with her.

‘Oh shit!’ Fai thought.
