~~Kaon’s POV~~

In the beginning there were a group of super heroines called the Sailor Scouts. Among them were Sailor Venus, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Pluto, Sailor Saturn, Sailor Mini Moon, Sailor Vesta, Sailor Pallas, Sailor Ceres, Sailor Juno, Sailor Star Fighter, Sailor Star Healer, Sailor Star Maker, Sailor Chibi Chibi, and finally the most powerful of them all, Sailor Moon. They battled many foes. Their last was known as Sailor Galaxia. Her threat was the strongest of all. She was gathering star seeds and using other Sailor Scouts to gather them. Those Scouts were called the Sailor Animates; Sailor Lead Crow, Sailor Iron Mouse, Sailor Tin Neko, and Sailor Aluminum Siren. Galaxia almost won, but Sailor Moon prevailed and defeated Galaxia. After that the Starlights returned home with their princess, the Scouts thought that their fights to protect Earth were finally over. But they were wrong. Two new evils, by the names of Queen Tsuya and Queen Hanya, have come to Earth and have captured all the scouts. Now they think it will be easy for them to take over the Earth. That is not going to happen if Luna and Artemis along with two new lunar cats named Arinna and Apollo can find new scouts to stop Tsuya and Hanya as well as free the trapped scouts. This is where my friends and me come in. You see we are those new Sailor Scouts. My name is Kaon Sanno and I’m the leader of this group. I am Sailor Sun, the warrior of the sun and heat. This is how we found each other and our many adventures.

~~Normal POV~~

A girl about 16 with golden brown hair in a pixie cut with blue eyes was walking home from school. She wore jeans and a gold t-shirt along with dust covered white sneakers. She looked a little depressed. ‘Why doesn’t anyone want to be friends with me? Am I that disgusting looking?’ the girl thought to herself. She sighs. ‘Oh well this just means that I have time to practice with my pokemon and my dueling deck.’ Just then two cats barreled right into the girl’s stomach knocking her to the ground. “What the?” The girl glanced down to her stomach to see a black cat and an orange cat. What caught her by surprise was the mark on both cat’s foreheads. “Crescent moons?”

Both cats glanced up at the girl and then they got surprised looks on their faces. “Your one of them!” both said together in female voices.

“What the?!” the girl exclaimed. All three glanced up upon hearing people headed their way. The girl grabbed the two cats and ducked into a hidden clearing. Once she was sure no one could hear them she turned back to the two cats. “Ok what the hell is going on here and how can you two talk?” the girl demanded.

“First off I am Luna,” the black cat said.

“And I am Arinna,” the other said.

“I’m Kaon Sanno,” the girl said, “So what is going on?”

“We need help defending the universe from evil,” Arinna said.

“You see there is a girl named Serena Tsukino who could transform into a super heroine known as Sailor Moon. She and her friends, Amy Mizuno, Sailor Mercury, Raye Hino, Sailor Mars, Lita Kino, Sailor Jupiter, Mina Aino, Sailor Venus, Amara Tenoh, Sailor Uranus, Michelle Kaioh, Sailor Neptune, Trista Meioh, Sailor Pluto, Hotaru Tomoe, Sailor Saturn, Rini, Sailor Mini Moon, Seiya Kou, Sailor Star Fighter, Taiki Kou, Sailor Star Maker, and Yaten Kou, Sailor Star Healer, fought to protect the Earth from evil that came from Outer Space,” Luna explained.

“What happened to them?” Kaon asked.

“After defeating an enemy called Galaxia who was using Sailor Scouts to do her bidding Serena and the others thought it was all over,” Luna went on to say.

“But soon after appointing me and Apollo as new lunar cats a new enemy showed up. Well, actually two enemies that is,” Arinna explained.

“Who were they?” Kaon asked seeing how upset the two cats became.

“They are,” Arinna said stressing the word ‘are’, “Tsuya and Hanya. They snuck up one everyone and captured them including Darien Shields, Tuxedo Mask, who is Serena’s boyfriend and future father of Rini. With the scouts captured Tsuya and Hanya think it will be easy to capture Earth.”

“It won’t be?” Kaon asked.

Luna shook her head. “Not if we find the new scouts first.”

“New scouts?” Kaon questioned.

“And your one of them,” Luna said with a nod to Arinna. Arinna nodded back and a beam came out of her crescent moon mark. The beam hit Kaon’s hands and in her hands appeared a broach that was gold and orange.

“What’s this?” Kaon asked gazing at the broach as she turned it around in her hands.

“That is your transformation broach. Hold it above your head and say Sun Prism Power,” Arinna instructed.

“Alright, I’ll give it a shot,” Kaon said and then she held the broach above her head, “Sun Prism Power!” The broach glowed with a golden light and then golden bands of light encircled Kaon. Kaon’s cloths were stripped away by the golden light only to be replaced by a sailor fuku that slightly resembled Sailor Moon’s original fuku, but Kaon’s skirt, bows, and boots were golden. Her boots also resembled Sailor Moon’s boots but instead of the sign for the moon on them they had the sign of the sun in black. A golden choker appeared around her neck. After her golden tiara with a golden jewel in the middle of it appeared on her forehead she struck a pose. “What the?” Kaon asked looking down at herself, “What happened?”

“You are now the sailor scout known as Sailor Sun the scout of the sun and heat,” Arinna explained.

Suddenly screams and running were heard rushing past the hidden meadow. “What’s going on?” Kaon asked.

“I’m sensing an Energy Zapper,” Arinna exclaimed.

“What’s an Energy Zapper?” Kaon questioned.

“An Energy Zapper is a being that Tsuya created to capture energy from humans. We have no idea why she is doing this, but we know its not good,” Luna explained.

“And with the original scouts gone and me a newly appointed one I guess that means that I have to fight this Zapper huh?” Kaon asked.

“If you want to. This power is only for you and only you can decide what you want to do,” Arinna stated.

Kaon thought for a few seconds and then got a determined look in her eyes. “What do I do to defeat this thing?” she asked the cats.

“We won’t know until we find its weakness,” Luna explained.

“Then lets go introduce ourselves to the Zapper,” Kaon said. The two cats nodded and the three dashed away to locate the Zapper. They soon found the Zapper and it looked like a girl clown in a really skimpy white and multicolored polka dotted dress along with white heels. “Hold it right there Zapper,” Kaon called out.

The Zapper glanced up to see Sailor Sun standing on a branch of a tree. Luna and Arinna hid in a bush beneath the tree Sun was in. “Who are you?” the Zapper asked.

“I am the forgotten scout of the Sun, Sailor Sun! You will return to your queen and order her to return the other scouts!” Sun ordered.

“My queen would not do that and she has ordered me to destroy anyone who stands in my way,” the clown said as it pulled out a giant club and lunged for Sun.

“Oh boy!” Sun exclaimed as she jumped out of the way of the clown’s strike. Instead of hitting Sun it hit the branch she was on and caused it to fall almost hitting Luna and Arinna who raced out of the way. “Luna! Arinna! You two ok?” Sun called.

“We’re fine,” Luna called back.

“Call out to Solar Flare! It’ll be able to protect you!” Arinna suggested.

“Solar Flare?” Sun gasped as she saw the clown coming at her again. “Its worth a shot. Solar Flare!” A sword with a golden handle appeared in her hands. The sword blocked the club. The clown leapt away to get a better assessment. “Wow!”

“I will defeat you!” the clown said lunging for Sun again.

“Not this time.” Sun’s left hand that she held out towards the clown began to glow in a golden light. “Sun Sparks Flash!” Sun exclaimed. Balls of golden fire shot from her hand and engulfed the clown who screamed in pain. Then it vanished and turned into a clown doll. “A doll?” Sun asked as she picked up the doll.

Luna and Arinna came up beside her. “That must be how Tsuya creates the Zappers,” Arinna said.

“She must infuse them with dark energy and then the doll becomes an Energy Zapper,” Luna explained. She smiled up at Sun. “Not bad for a first battle.”

“Thanks and thank you Arinna for telling me about Solar Flare,” Sun said.

“Well if I didn’t tell you then you would have panicked when you heard it,” Arinna said.

“Heard it?” Sun questioned.

[Yes. I am able to communicate with you princess,] a male voice said in sun’s head as Solar Flare left her hand on its own and floated before her.

“What the? You can act on your own?” Sun asked.

[Yes. Whenever you need me just call out to me,] the sword said before it vanished.

“Well at least I know I have some backup when I need it,” Sun said. Suddenly she heard footsteps. “Uh oh! Someone’s coming! How do I go back to my regular self?”

“Just picture the cloths you had on before you transformed. You’ll return to normal,” Luna explained.

“Got it.” With that she closed her eyes and glowed before she dressed once again in her normal cloths. “Cool trick. Come on. I’ll take you guys to my home.” Kaon scooped up both cats and dashed towards her home.

Far away in a dark palace a hand slammed down in a black throne. “Damn! I was sure we got them all!” a dark female voice said. The voice belonged to a woman with dark green hair and dark purple eyes. She wore a dark red dress.

“Calm down Tsuya. Its only one scout. Just send out another stronger Zapper tomorrow and you will defeat her,” another cold, but calm female voice said. This belonged to another woman who had dark red hair and dark gray eyes. She wore a dark green dress.

“Good idea Hanya. I’ll find one straight away.” With that the dark green haired woman hurried away down a hall.

“Heh. I’ll make sure you lose to this new scout. Then I will finish her off and take control of the whole universe,” Hanya said with an evil smirk.

Kaon’s voice: Hey everyone, its Kaon here. So I am now a new sailor scout and I must defeat both Hanya and Tsuya in order to free the trapped scouts. I just hope that I don’t have to do this alone. Luna and Arinna said ‘new scouts’ meaning that there might be more scouts out there that I can team up to defeat this threat. Next episode I meet and befriend a girl named Shima Shishiza who I feel a strong bond with. Could she be another scout? I gotta find out! Next time on Sailor Moon Next Generation ‘The roaring lion’.
