Secret Snowflake for Wolfnogins

15 year old Stephanie Rodin gazed around at the assortment of people around her unsure what was going on. First the plane crash, then finding strange eggs that hatched into creatures, other creatures attacking them, some of the group being kidnapped by mud creatures, and many other things happened to what she heard one girl in the group call ‘Their happy Skyline family’.

Ovismon glanced down at her human companion seeing her worried face. “Something wrong?” she questioned.

“Hm? No…just…not really sure what to make of all that has happened so far,” she murmured. She then glanced to the back of the group as they wandered along a road and noticed a 16 year old girl hanging out back there with her Digimon, that’s what she was told these creatures were called, beside her. ‘She was the one who got hurt before and was stuck out in the cold,’ she thought and drifted back to the girl with Ovismon quickly following her short tamer. “H-hi,” Stephanie said in nervousness, “M-my name is Stephanie and this is Ovismon.”

The 16 year old gave her a side long glance as did the fox like Digimon at her side to Ovismon who gave a glare back. The girl then sighed. “Names Kaie and this is Kevamon,” she said in a monotone.

“H-how is your ankle doing?” Stephanie asked glancing down at said ankle.

“It’s better,” Kaie replied simply.

Ovismon rolled her eyes. “She’s just trying to make conversation with you. Is that so bad?” she demanded.

“It is when Kaie wants to be left alone,” Kevamon growled back.

“Ovismon its okay,” Stephanie said trying to stop her Digimon from fighting with Kevamon.

“Keva,” Kaie said in a calm voice which made Kevamon calm down although she still glared at Ovismon. Kaie then looked at Stephanie like she was scanning her profile. “You’re not American are you?” she questioned.

“No, Dominican,” she replied.

“What were you doing on the plane?”

Stephanie glanced down at her feet as they continued to follow the rest of the group. “I was traveling with my dad,” she replied.

“At least you had someone with you,” Kaie said causing Stephanie to look up at her.

“No one was with you?” Kaie shook her head. “Um…why were you on the plane?”

“Traveling. My aunt was letting me travel so I could escape my home life. You don’t want to know what it was like,” Kaie replied. She then glanced at Stephanie again. “You’re really shy aren’t you?”

“Mildly,” Stephanie said with a mild blush.

Kevamon glanced between the two human girls for a few seconds. “Just ask her Kaie,” Kevamon said causing both humans to look at her in surprise.

“Keva!” Kaie scolded and Stephanie saw a mild blush on the older girls face. She sighed again. “Wanna be friends?” Kaie questioned glancing away from her still with a mild blush on her cheeks.

Stephanie blushed as well mildly. “S-sure,” she replied.

Both girls glanced at each other and Kaie gave the girl a soft smile before glaring up ahead of them seeing some of the boys glance back at the duo. “What are you looking at?” she demanded. The boys turned grumbling and Stephanie just gave a mild chuckle at their actions, which caused Kaie to smiled slightly at the smaller girl.
